We collect only the information needed to run the platform:

• Account data: your email address and a name you provide, used to identify you as an author.
• Authentication data: when you sign in with Google, we receive the name and email address Google shares with us. We do not receive your Google password.
• Content you post: posts, comments, project submissions, and feedback you create — including any name you choose to display (you may post as "Guest").
• Usage data: standard browser and device information collected automatically when you visit, such as browser type and pages visited.

• To create and manage your account and sign-in session.
• To display your chosen name alongside the posts, comments, and projects you contribute.
• To moderate content and keep the community safe.
• To respond to your feedback and support requests.
• To improve the platform and understand how it is used.

Your account and content are stored on the platform's hosted backend, provided by Base44. Passwords are hashed — we never store them in plain text. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no system can guarantee complete security.

We rely on the following third parties to operate:

• Google: used for the "Sign in with Google" option. Google's use of your information is governed by its own Privacy Policy.
• Base44: our hosting and backend provider, which stores account and content data on our behalf.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

We use essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as your dark-mode setting. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• Access & edit: you can view and update your profile from your account.
• Delete your account: use the "Delete Account" option in the account menu. This removes your account from the platform.
• Sign out: you can sign out at any time from the account menu.
• Post as a guest: you can browse and post without an account by entering a display name.

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we remove your account information. Posts and comments you contributed may remain visible to the community unless removed through moderation.

LyraVegaSci is intended for curious learners of all ages interested in engineering. The platform is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed.
